FPI’s oxygen cylinder valves are manufactured I/A/W MIL-PRF-9439 and are designed to provide manual on/off control of high pressure oxygen cylinders.

  • Available in two inlet sizes – P/N 5500 - 1⁄2” ANPT & P/N 5501 - 1” ANPT
  • 2100 PSI operating pressure – 3000 PSI proof pressure
  • Brass construction
  • Hand wheel operation with neoprene wrap for improved comfort and grip
  • 1⁄4 to 1 turn fully-open operation
  • Overpressure safety device

Also available is FPI P/N 5410 Automatic Opening Valve. Constructed per MIL-PRF-8622 (s/s MS22012), these valves are designed to open automatically when a coupling nut is connected to the valve outlet while closing when it is disconnected, thus allowing flow from remotely located cylinders.

  • 1” ANPT Inlet
  • Flow rate at fully open 50-65 LPM
  • Operating pressure 1800 PSI
  • Brass construction
  • Overpressure rupture disk 2700 to 3000 PSI max*
  • Operating Temperature -65F to 165F
  • Pressure drop 5 PSI max @ 55 LPM !*Alternate burst disk 2500 to 2775 PSI max is available to meet 3HT PRD regulation requirements. (FPI P/N 5410-L)

FPI offers a large number of low pressure oxygen check valves designed per MIL-PRF-7908 (s/s MS21211) to provide directional control of low pressure oxygen systems.

  • Assembly leak tight to 450 PSI – Check leakage 1 cc/minute max in check direction @ 10 to 450 PSI
  • Proof Pressure 750 PSI
  • Pressure Drop 10 PSI maximum
  • Operating temperature -65F to 160F
  • Media – Aviators Breathing Oxygen
